TROUTMAN SWIMBAITS is a pioneer in performance.  No one else has ever employed The Colonel’s system.  Be it known that TROUTMAN did it first and any copycats will be shameless.  Chris also works extensively with his chief MIT and TUFTS scientist Chris Cannizzaro PhD in achieving strength and performance in TROUTMAN products.

Thousands of hours have been spent designing, testing, re-designing, and re-testing the TROUTMAN products. Over fifty design changes were made on the RATTLE CLACKER development alone. The result is performance unmatched with an industry uncommon, injection of time and money into every lure.

Hundreds of different bill angles, shapes, and sizes have been tested and are recorded at variable speeds of retrieve.  The Colonel shapes every component aspect of his lures; including actual fabrication of bills and tails.
